Once the semester begins, students typically have the first seven class days to change their schedules. After the 7th class day, written consent of the department chair is required to add a class.
Such approval is granted only in extremely exceptional cases and with the consent of the instructor. Examples of extenuating circumstances include - delay in access to registration due to hospitalization or active military duty.
If granted, students may not be given the opportunity to make up missed assignments due to late registration.
Overrides due to employment/work schedule conflicts or for convenience will not be granted.
