Grade Appeal Form

If you do not agree with the final grade assigned in a department of Computer Science course, please follow these steps:

Discuss your grade appeal with the instructor. If the instructor approves your appeal, no further action is needed.
If the instructor denies your appeal, you may then appeal to the chair of the Dept of Computer Science.
If the department chair denies your appeal, you may then appeal to the College of Science & Engineering by completing the form located at http://www.cose.txstate.edu/advising/forms/gradeappeal.html

Please allow at least 48 hours for the chair to review your request. Some special cases may require a longer processing time.
After the chair has reviewed this request, the office will contact you with a decision, or a meeting request for further discussion.
Falsifying information on this form is a violation of the Texas State University Honor Code.
