
Dr. Tanzima Islam, assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, has been named recipient of the National Science Foundation’s CAREER Award.
The five-year $650,000 grant will support Dr. Islam’s research project, “CAREER: SPEED: Scalable Performance-aware Engine for Efficient Decision-making on High-Performance Computing Systems.”
Dr. Islam also received the Department of Energy’s Early Career Research Program award in 2022 for her research project research project, “INTELYTICS: An Efficient Data-Driven Decision-Making Engine for Performance in the Era of Heterogeneity.”
