Cooperative Education Program

Cooperative Education is an experiential education model that integrates both academic and work-based learning.

What is a Co-op?

Co-ops are like internships, but they offer more
advanced experience and hands-on training as well as
course credit and higher pay, in most cases.

Co-op students alternate semesters in the classroom with
semesters working in industry in their field of study to
gain more experience than a typical intern does.
